For the last 8 years, I’ve been using a parachute tote bag as my tennis kit. Not on purpose — it’s just what I had lying around. I show up to the court in jeans, skateboard shoes, and a vague sense of the rules. People look at me like I wandered in by mistake. They’re wrong.
