111 Story

111 Parka & 111 Overall

We've made our 111 Parka every season right here in New York City since 2008. we've re-built, and improved the fit, features, fabrics and trims continuously along the way ever since. This year's is the same as it ever was, and better than ever.

Waterproof and breathable, this extremely versatile jacket wears just as well in the city streets on a rainy day as it does in the Tahoe backcountry. Fully-lined, with pit zips to keep you from overheating.

This year, we're introducing our new 111 Overall. Two years in the making- team-tested, functional, and tough-wearing. We've integrated the same thoughtful details, fabrics, and timeless style of the 111 Parka into the 111 Overall. Sure to be a staple of our line for many years to come.

2L NYLON DWR SHELL
We use a team-tested, durable 4.75 oz/yd Nylon shell. Nylon wears tougher and better than the Polyester that the majority of outerwear is sewn from. Micro-porous back- coating keeps liquid moisture from getting in, while letting humidity out. Durable Water Repellant coating sheds water, keeping the shell fabric from getting saturated. Taped seams keep the leaks out.

EVOLUTIONARY DETAILS

We've re-designed and upgraded every element of our 111 outerwear set multiple times through it's development. The snaps alone have undergone five rounds of revisions to strike just the right balance of catch and release.

Cut and sewn right in the heart of New York City's Historic Garment District.

111 HISTORY

Vintage Frostline kit jacket. This style was ubiquitous in the 1970's, and variants were manufactured by a wide variety of companies. These jackets were most often sewn from a 60/40 Cotton/Nylon blend fabric. Great fabric, 'til it rains or snows and you get soaked.

We make our own patterns, and sew samples in-house. There's no better way to understand every detail of what you're building.

Always a scary and exciting moment when the actual fabrics arrive. Turning palette of fabrics into a palette of jackets is no small task.
